Liverpool have given their support to the Anthony Nolan charity, which aims to help people suffering from blood cancer.
The Merseyside outfit have joined the organisation, who have Reds goalkeeper Brad Jones's partner Dani Lawrence as an ambassador following the death of Jones's five-year old son to leukaemia.
"We are delighted LFC is backing this event to help raise more awareness of blood cancer," the Liverpool Echo quotes Lawrence as saying.
The Premier League club will hold an event at Anfield on March 25 to help find potential donors for those who are in need of a bone marrow transplant.
