The British Horseracing Authority have announced that jockey Eddie Ahern has been found guilty of corruption.
The governing body have announced following an investigation that the 36-year-old has breached three rules relating to five Ahern rides that occurred between September 10, 2010 and February 11 the following year.
Ahern has also been found guilty of "communicating inside information for reward", while owner Neil Clement has been found in breach of corruption as well as "placing a lay bet on a horse which he then owned".
A statement from the BHA said: "It was alleged that Neil Clement, a registered owner, and Eddie Ahern, a licensed jockey, were engaged in a conspiracy to commit corrupt practices by the use of inside information supplied by Ahern to support the lay betting carried out by Mr Clement."
The punishments relating to the hearing are expected to be decided later this afternoon.
