Michael Schumacher's wife Corinna has reportedly been talking to the stricken Formula 1 legend every day in a bid to bring him out of his coma.
The 45-year-old has been in an induced coma since hitting his head on a rock while skiing off-piste in the French Alps on December 29.
According to the Daily Star, Corinna, as well as Schumacher's friends and family, has been talking to him without a response at the University Hospital in Grenoble as doctors try to slowly wake him up from his current state.
"We are sure that familiar voices, such as those of family members, present a calming effect," the newspaper quotes neurosurgeon Heinzpeter Moecke as saying. "They give you a sense of security."
The seven-time F1 champion is believed to have undergone two operations on his brain since being admitted to hospital.
