Police confirm that a number of arrests have been made following a brawl between Dinamo Zagreb and Paris Saint-Germain fans, with one Croatian supporter "severely injured".

A Dinamo Zagreb supporter has been "severely injured" following a brawl in France ahead of the Champions League meeting between the Croatian club and Paris Saint-Germain.

Police have confirmed that a host of fans were arrested after they were alerted to a fight in central Paris last night.

"Clashes erupted between PSG and Dinamo Zagreb fans in the Bastille area. Police were sent to end the brawl," BBC Sport quotes a police spokesman as saying.

"Some, mostly Croatians, were arrested and others were detained for questioning. One Croatian was severely injured."

Zagreb currently sit at the bottom of Group A with no points, while PSG are placed in second with six points.
