Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti is happy for his side to pick up points without playing especially well in the Champions League.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that he is more interested in his side qualifying for the knockout rounds of the Champions League than in playing good football.

The French outfit will host Dinamo Zagreb in Group A on Tuesday, having picked up six points from three matches so far.

"We haven't played outstanding football so far this season, but we have played very well at times," said the Italian. "We reached some kind of balance, and that's where the results come from.

"What's important now is to display more continuity. We have won nine out of our 12 fixtures so the results are here, even if the quality of our football isn't incredible."

"PSG's goal is to qualify for the next round," added Ancelotti. "We could still win the group – we'll see how things stand after this game."

Porto lead Group A with nine points.
