Wales manager Chris Coleman rescued a missing elderly woman from getting hit by traffic.

The former Fulham boss spotted the pensioner, who had been reported missing by her family, wandering towards the road, but managed to get to her in time to prevent her from getting hurt.

"Thankfully the police were able to return her home safely," This Is South Wales quotes Coleman as saying. "She had already been reported missing, so I'm just happy I was able to help her."

Coleman is believed to have seen the woman while he was travelling to a meeting in Pembrokeshire.
