Haas is not concerned that Esteban Ocon's history of teammate clashes will be an issue alongside rookie Oliver Bearman in 2025.
The small American outfit enters the season with an all-new driver pairing, with Ocon, 28, bringing vast experience from Alpine and his previous teams, while 19-year-old Bearman makes his full-time Formula 1 debut.
Given Ocon's well-documented on and off-track battles with past teammates—including Sergio Perez, Fernando Alonso, and Pierre Gasly—some believe tensions could flare as he tries to assert himself against a much younger rival.
However, Haas team boss Ayao Komatsu insists there's no reason to expect issues.
"No, no, no," Komatsu said. "The rules of engagement have to be totally clear from day one. I don't expect any teammate contact or DNFs because of that."
While confident in a harmonious working relationship, Komatsu still expects both drivers to push hard on track.
"The rules of engagement will just be perfectly clear," he reiterated.
