Huddersfield Giants coach Paul Anderson eyes top spot in Super League

Huddersfield Giants coach Paul Anderson reveals that he is eager for his team to finish at the top of the Super League table this season.

Huddersfield Giants coach Paul Anderson has revealed that he wants his side to finish at the top of the Super League table following their win over Catalans Dragons.

The Giants, who earned a 38-16 victory at home on Sunday, are currently in sixth place in the standings.

However, Anderson is eager for his team to finish the campaign as strongly as possible.

"There is everything to play for," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We want to be in that top four, we still want to finish top if that's possible.

"It was disappointing conceding 16 points but, in the first half, apart from one little [mistake] on our try-line, I thought we were pretty good defensively. Catalan are a good team but our effort and endeavour was good."

Huddersfield return to Super League action this Sunday when they travel to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
