Hull FC winger Steve Michaels has signed a new deal with the club until the end of next season.
The 27-year-old Australian joined the Super League outfit from Gold Coast Titans at the start of the current campaign and has started all but three of Hull's matches this term.
"He was a bit of an unknown quantity to some when we announced his signing last year but he's been a great addition to the squad and over the last six performances he's really started to shine and show us his true credentials," coach Lee Radford is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"I'm sure with the added competition for places next season, with the young lads coming through and the new players we're bringing, in will only drive him on further and bring the best out of him."
Hull FC are back in Super League action on August 7 when they make the trip to Castleford Tigers.
