Wigan prop Gareth Hock will miss the rest of his team’s season after receiving a five-match ban for punching and gouging.
The England international was found guilty of the offences during Wigan's 39-12 Super League defeat to Warrington on Sunday.
He was placed on report by referee Richard Silverwood for punching Ben Harrison but was then cited by the Rugby Football League's match review panel for the more serious charge of gouging.
Hock recently returned to the game after a two-year doping suspension for cocaine use.
