Super League roundup: St Helens maintain winning start

Sports Mole rounds up Sunday's Super League action at St Helens maintain their winning start to the season.

St Helens have continued their winning start to the new Super League season with a 24-16 victory at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

Despite finding themselves 4-10 down at half time, the Saints turned the game around as Sia Soliola, Matt Dawson, Joe Greenwood and Tom Makinson all touched down in quick succession to put them at the top of the table.

Third-placed Castleford Tigers were stunned by the Salford Red Devils with a score of 23-16 at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Andrew Dixon touched down twice for Salford, who were able to move away from the lower half of the standings with their third win of the campaign.

Bottom-placed Bradford Bulls suffered their fourth defeat of the season as they were beaten 16-0 at Hull KR, while Widnes Vikings got back to winning ways with a 7-0 triumph away to Hull FC.
