Mike Ford "disappointed" with Bath performance

Mike Ford admits that he is "disappointed" to have seen his Bath side heavily beaten by Glasgow Warriors on Saturday.

Bath boss Mike Ford has admitted that his side learnt a valuable lesson in their heavy 37-10 defeat to Glasgow Warriors.

The Scottish outfit racked up five tries at Scotstoun to down Ford's men in their opening European Rugby Champions Cup clash earlier today.

"It is a lesson learnt in a tough European tie," Ford told reporters. "It was disappointing. We are disappointed with the tries that we let in and we let the game get away from us.

"We didn't finish off the breaks that we had and then they scored a couple of quick tries. When that happens, all of a sudden you are on the wrong end of a poor scoreline. We will learn from it, though. We are a young side."

Bath return to European action next Saturday when they host Toulouse.
