Bath beat 14-man Gloucester
Bath hold on to take a 31-25 win over 14-man Gloucester in the Aviva Premiership.

Bath came away with a 31-25 win in a scrappy game against Gloucester in the Aviva Premiership this evening.

Bath were gifted an early lead after Charlie Sharples tackled Tom Biggs without the ball, conceding a penalty try and receiving a yellow card for the move.

Despite being down to 14 men, Gloucester were able to reduce the hosts' advantage, Henry Trinder breaking the whitewash for a try.

Jonny May put the visitors ahead once Sharples returned, before Kyle Eastmond put Bath back in front towards the end of the closely-fought opening period.

Gloucester were back down to 14 men early in the second half when Darren Dawidiuk was dismissed for a dangerous tackle on Dave Attwood.

Carl Fearns was shown a yellow card, making the match 14-a-side for 10 minutes, during which May and Biggs each added a try to keep the scores close heading into the final 15 minutes.

Neither side were able to add to the score board towards the end of the match, ensuring that Bath took the win. They sit seventh in the table.
