Jonathan Joseph, Anthony Watson tied down to new Bath deals

Bath Rugby announce new deals for England international duo Jonathan Joseph and Anthony Watson, who will remain in place at the club until 2019.

England internationals Jonathan Joseph and Anthony Watson have signed new three-year deals at Bath Rugby.

Both players joined the club from London Irish in 2013 and played a key part in the 2015 run to the Aviva Premiership final, which they lost to Saracens.

Despite a disappointing campaign last time out for Bath, in which they finished down in ninth and missed out on a place in the European Champions Cup, Joseph and Watson have agreed to extend their current terms.

First-team coach Toby Booth told Bath's official website: "I've known both Jonathan and Anthony for a long time now, and I'm really pleased they've committed the really important years of their careers to the club.

"They are both exceptionally talented players who since gaining greater international experience are having much more of a positive effect on the group - both on and off the pitch."

Joseph has scored 16 tries in 58 appearances for Bath, while Watson has 12 tries in 67 games.
