Clermont winger Zac Guildford could be out of action for up to a month after allegedly being attacked while out in France on Saturday night.
The 25-year-old was reportedly set upon by a trio while out with Welsh teammate Jonathan Davies, and suffered a kick to the face, causing damage to his jaw, according to La Montagne.
Guildford and Davies had been out celebrating lock Jamie Cudmore's birthday and the birth of fly-half Camille Lopez's son after their 32-6 win over Racing Metro.
"In this incident, he is the victim. There has been absolutely no reason to reproach him since his arrival. His integration is going well," Clermont's sporting director Jean-Marc Lhermet told reporters.
The incident comes just six weeks after Aurelien Rougerie, Benjamin Kayser and Julien Pierre were also attacked late at night in Millau.
