Head coach Eddie Jones hailed aspects of England's performance against Australia on Saturday evening as "absolutely outstanding".
While England failed to make their quality count during the opening 40 minutes, only holding a 16-12 lead, they surged clear during the second half to prevail by a 32-15 scoreline.
Although Australia got more points on the board than Jones would have hoped, he was still full of praise for his side, particularly Freddie Steward's well-constructed try during the early stages.
Jones is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "Our handling, our running lines, hitting the holes was absolutely outstanding. We want to do more of that. It is not going to happen all the time, but I thought that was really promising.
"I thought it was probably one of the best tries I have seen from an England side."
England are in action again next Saturday when they play host to South Africa.
