England coach Stuart Lancaster believes there is a chance that prop forward Alex Corbisiero will play a role in the Autumn Internationals.
The 25-year-old has been named in the England squad, despite currently being sidelined with a knee injury.
"Alex has had a bit of fluid drained off his knee," Sky Sports News quotes Lancaster as saying. "It is recommended that he has a couple of weeks of rehab so he is definitely not out of the QBE Series by any stretch of the imagination.
"Everyone is optimistically hoping that he will come through and be available for some if not all of the games, but at the moment he is having some fluid drained off the knee. He will have to have some rehab this week probably leading into next week, so we will see how we go, we are keeping an open mind on it."
Corbisiero played just three times for London Irish last season due to his knee problem.
