Fiji flanker Dominiko Waqaniburotu cited for Jonny May tackle

Fiji flanker Dominiko Waqaniburotu will appear before an independent judicial officer after being cited for a tackle on England's Jonny May.

Fiji flanker Dominiko Waqaniburotu has been cited for a tackle on England winger Jonny May during the host nation's 35-11 win in the opening match at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

The 29-year-old is accused of lifting May above horizontal before lowering him to the ground, although the referee did not show him a card for the offence at the time.

Waqaniburotu will have a hearing with an independent judicial officer today to determine any further punishment.

Fiji face Australia at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on Wednesday.
