England head coach Stuart Lancaster has insisted that there is still "plenty to play for" in their final two Six Nations fixtures as he looks ahead to the World Cup.
The team suffered a 19-9 defeat to Ireland last weekend, which pushed them down to second in the standings.
Next Saturday, England will take on Scotland at Twickenham and will close their campaign with a home clash against France on March 21.
"There's plenty to play for - not just for now, the Championship - for me in terms of understanding which players can and can't deliver under pressure leading into the World Cup," Lancaster told reporters.
"Once we get to that World Cup camp, we'll have a lot more players available who've been injured - they'll come back into the equation and the World Cup will take its own course."
The tournament begins on September 18.
