Munster have secured their second win of the 2011 Heineken Cup, beating Castres Olympique by a score of 24-27.
Castres fly-half Pierre Bernard put the home side ahead through a pair of first-half penalties. Brice Mach's try extended their lead to 11 points before Munster's Doug Howlett responded in kind.
Ronan O'Gara's conversion reduced the deficit to four, only for Bernard to convert Pierre-Gilles Lakafia's try to restore the lead. However, O'Gara's last-minute penalty pulled it back to eight.
Peter O'Mahony scored early in the second half to continue the comeback, before O'Gara's second successful conversion put them back in the contest.
With just over 10 minutes remaining, Will Chambers's score allowed O'Gara's third to put the visitors ahead for the first time in the game. Meanwhile, two second-half penalties by Bernard kept Castres level, before O'Gara's drop goal in the final minute gave Munster the win.
