Martin Castrogiovanni has been recalled to the Italy squad for their remaining Six Nations games, despite still recovering from a cracked rib.
The prop sustained the injury against England and missed Italy's 42-10 loss to Ireland on Saturday.
Italy face Wales in Cardiff on March 10 and Scotland in Rome on March 17.
