Dai Young slams "unacceptable" London Wasps

London Wasps director of rugby Dai Young describes his side's performance during Sunday's defeat to Bath as "unacceptable".

London Wasps director of rugby Dai Young has described his side's performance as "unacceptable" during Sunday's 28-5 defeat to Bath in the Aviva Premiership.

The hosts were comfortably beaten at Adams Park as they suffered their fifth loss of the season.

"Bath really didn't have to fight too hard for it, that's the disappointing factor," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying.

"It was pretty much an unacceptable performance. We lacked quality in everything we did today.

"We were really flat. We lacked enthusiasm and excitement today. When we did have the ball, we didn't build any momentum or pressure. We never stretched them."

The defeat has seen Wasps slip down to eighth place in the Aviva Premiership table.
