Northampton have secured their fifth win in six Aviva Premiership games, beating Bath 22-13 at Franklin's Gardens this afternoon.
Olly Barkley's penalty gave the road team an early lead on 13 minutes, before Saints fly-half Ryan Lamb kicked a penalty and converted a couple of Northampton tries – from Phil Dowson and Jamie Elliot – to put the home team up by 19 at the half.
Barkley added a second penalty immediately after the restart, but Bath couldn't capitalise on the centre's scoring.
While Francois Louw was able to break the line for the visitors with 15 minutes left, Northampton held on to secure the bounce-back win.
