Sale Sharks director of rugby Steve Diamond is pleased with the club's form at home in the Aviva Premiership.

Steve Diamond has praised Sale Sharks' recent home form following their 14-13 win over Bath yesterday evening.

Sale have won four of their last six games at the Salford City Stadium, helping them to move off the bottom of the Aviva Premiership table.

The club's director of rugby told BBC Radio Manchester: "We were fortunate to get off the bottom of the league with the thing that happened with London Welsh but we've done alright at home since Boxing Day.

"We've been beaten by a couple of the top four sides and Montpellier, but it's starting to become a home.

"In the first half, the wind conditions were all over the shop but I thought we won that fair and square. And in the last 10 or 15 minutes we had good composure to get back into the game."

Following London Welsh's point deduction, Sharks are now six points clear of the foot of the table.
