Alastair Kellock says Scotland must improve after an error-strewn win over Romania.

Scotland captain Alastair Kellock has admitted that his team have a lot of work to do if they are to comfortably win games at the Rugby World Cup.

The Glasgow lock said that there were positive aspects to their 34-24 win over Romania, but there was also much to be improved upon.

"I’m disappointed with certain aspects of the game, but we got the win and we got the bonus point," he said after the match.

"Our finishing at times was outstanding, some of our big ball carriers did brilliantly well, but we’ve got an awful lot to work on."

Numerous errors, missed penalties and a nervous defence saw the scores tied at 24-24 with 10 minutes to go.

"We had to come back. We were in a tough situation with about 10-15 minutes to go. We made a lot of errors – errors that we’ll have to cut out if we’re going to win games in this tournament."

Scotland move on to face Georgia on Wednesday, September 14.
