Dan Rivers claims shooting gold for England

England claim their second Commonwealth Games gold medal of the day thanks to Dan Rivers's strong display in the men's 50 rifle three positions.

Dan Rivers has won England's second gold medal of the day with success in the men's 50 rifle three positions at the Commonwealth Games.

The Didcot marksman, who claimed a bronze medal in the 10m air rifle event on Friday, comfortably saw off his competition to seal top spot with a score of 452.9.

Sanjeez Rajput and Gagan Narang took silver and bronze respectively for India at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre, while England's Ken Parr finished in sixth place.

Team England's first gold of day six went to David Luckman in the men's full-bore Queen's Prize individual shooting event.
