Great Britain's Charlie Maddock will fight for taekwondo gold this evening after defeating Ivett Gonda in the women's -49kg semi-final at the European Games.
The 19-year-old beat Hungarian Gonda 4-1 this afternoon, having comfortably beaten Italy's Erica Nicoli 17-3 in the quarter-finals earlier.
The Briton led the semi-final from the first round, and confirmed her win with two points towards the end of the third and final round.
Maddock will face Tijana Bogdanovic in the final, with the Serbian narrowly beating Azerbaijan's Patimat Abakarova 7-6 in her semi-final after it went down to a golden point.
