Rafael Nadal pleased with Cincinnati title

Rafael Nadal reveals his delight at winning his first Cincinnati Open title.

Rafael Nadal has admitted that his Cincinnati Open title is "very special".

The Spaniard beat John Isner in straight sets in the final to claim his first victory at the event this evening.

Nadal also had some words of encouragement for the American, who had caused a couple of upsets on his way to the final.

"It's very special for me to win her," Nadal told reporters. "This one is the first one I actually felt I was playing well.

"Congratulations to John, and I'm sorry for today, but I'm sure if you continue you will have lots of chances to win tournaments like this."

Nadal begins the defence of his US Open title on August 26.
