Novak Djokovic beats Albert Ramos-Vinolas at Indian Wells

Novak Djokovic is through to the last 16 at Indian Wells thanks to a hard-fought 7-5 6-3 win over Albert Ramos-Vinolas.

Novak Djokovic has beaten Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the third round of the BNP Paribas Open in straight sets.

The world number one lost his serve in the first game of the match, but he broke back a few games later and managed to edge a tight set 7-5.

Ramos-Vinolas maintained his high level in the second set as he held serve routinely, but he only managed to create two break points on Djokovic's serve, which he failed to take.

Djokovic upped his tempo as the set drifted towards a tie break, and he broke the Spaniard in the eighth game before he served out the match.
