Novak Djokovic has stormed to a record-breaking fifth title at Indian Wells with a demolition job on Milos Raonic in the final this evening.
The world number one took less than an hour and 20 minutes to overcome his opponent 6-2 6-0 to further enhance his reputation as the dominant force in world tennis at the moment.
Djokovic gave a sign of things to come in the very first game of the contest when he broke Raonic at the second time of asking, and after holding his own serve he then broke to love on his way to an early 4-0 lead.
Raonic then held back-to-back service games, but had little joy against serve and eventually lost the opener 6-2 when Djokovic took his third set point.
An injury appeared to be hampering the Canadian, and that played a part in the second set too as Djokovic showed no mercy on his way to the victory.
The Serb broke his hapless opponent three times to take the second 6-0 and claim his 62nd career title, including 27 ATP Masters 1000 wins.
