Fabio Fognini reached round four of the Miami Masters in Key Biscayne by beating Slovakia's Lukas Lacko in straight sets.
The Italian, who made it to the fourth round of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells last week before losing to Alexandr Dolgopolov, was able to take the only break of serve in the first set while dominating points behind his own first serve.
Lacko looked to fight back in the second set, but was unable to even force a break point against Fognini.
In the end, Fognini completed a 6-4 6-4 victory to set up a third-round tie against Roberto Bautista-Agut, who beat Jerzy Janowicz earlier on Saturday.
