Rafael Nadal breezes past Lleyton Hewitt

Rafael Nadal defeats Lleyton Hewitt 6-1 6-3 in the second round of the Miami Masters.

Rafael Nadal has booked his place in the third round of the Miami Masters with a straight-sets victory over Lleyton Hewitt.

The world number one took just one hour and nine minutes to win the second-round encounter 6-1 6-3.

The 27-year-old Spaniard was in control of the contest right from the start and went 4-0 up in the first set in only 15 minutes.

Nadal eventually wrapped it up 6-1 in just under half an hour.

Hewitt stepped up his game in the second set and made it tougher for Nadal, but the top seed did not suffer any setbacks and clinched it 6-3.
