The pair overcame Aliaksandr Bury and Denis Istomin to advance into the last 16 at Flushing Meadows and have now made it to the final eight with a straight-sets victory over Tommy Haas and Radek Stepanek on Sunday.

It took just 38 minutes for Inglot and Lindstedt to win the first set 6-4, before the British and Swedish pairing secured a break at 3-4 in the second to move 5-3 ahead and ultimately serve it out.

The victors dropped just one service game in the last-16 match and needed little over one hour and 15 minutes to emerge victorious.
