Iga Swiatek sees her 37-match winning streak come to an end while Nick Kyrgios gets the better of Stefanos Tsitsipas on day six of Wimbledon.

Katie Boulter's Wimbledon dreams were dashed in under an hour by a ruthless Harmony Tan in Saturday's third-round encounter, while top seed Iga Swiatek suffered a shock loss of her own.

The 26-year-old had sent last year's beaten finalist Karolina Pliskova packing earlier in the week, but Tan - who defeated Serena Williams in round one - was a class above on the day and won 6-1 6-1.

Tan would break at the first opportunity and stormed into a 5-1 lead in the early exchanges, with nerves and fatigue possibly getting the better of Boulter, and the Frenchwoman wrapped up the first set with three aces.

A correct challenge from Tan on her forehand allowed her to break Boulter's serve in game one of the second set, and the Brit's only positive aspect of the latter exchanges would be a comfortable hold in game three.

Tan would not drop another game on her way to round four, as despite having the backing of the home crowd, Boulter's fate was sealed with a double fault before her boyfriend Alex de Minaur took to the court.

The Australian had recent history when it came to eliminating British opposition in Jack Draper, but Diego Schwartzman's conqueror Liam Broady would seemingly prove to be sterner competition.

However, De Minaur cruised to a straight-sets success to end Broady's hopes via a 6-3 6-4 7-5 success, but the 23-year-old did not comfortably serve for the match by any means.

After breaking back to level the third set at 5-5, Broady had four opportunities to force a tie-break on De Minaur's serve in the 12th game, although he failed to take any of them.

De Minaur also squandered three match points, but he took his fourth to seal a spot in the fourth round as Broady walked off the court to the rapturous support of the home crowd.

Later in the day, top seed Swiatek sought to win a 38th match in a row and surpass Martina Hingis's record, but the world number one was stunned in a two-set loss to Alize Cornet.

Mistake after mistake came Swiatek's way in the encounter, as she made 32 unforced errors and was broken three times in the second set to go down 6-4 6-2 to the world number 37.

Later in the day, court one witnessed an unforgettable four-set encounter between Nick Kyrgios and Stefanos Tsitsipas, who were not afraid to let their frustrations show and were hit with court violations for their troubles.

Kyrgios sparked concern after going down with an apparent hip issue after slipping, but the Australian - who served phenomenally on the night - recovered to win 6-7 (2-7) 6-4 6-3 7-6 (9-7).

Rafael Nadal had a squabble of his own with Lorenzo Sonego as the Spaniard progressed 6-1 6-2 6-4, while there were also wins for Simona Halep and Amanda Anisimova, the latter of whom defeated Coco Gauff in three sets.
