Tomas Berdych has advanced into the second round of Wimbledon with a 6-3 6-4 6-4 victory over Martin Klizan on Tuesday.
A tight opening set brought just the one break of serve, with Berdych taking advantage of Klizan's second serve to move 5-3 ahead, before serving to take the opener.
It was a similar story in the second set, but this time the break occurred early as Berdych moved 3-1 ahead on serve.
Klizan did recover to hold his next three service games, but it was not enough to stop the Czech moving two sets ahead.
Berdych continued to impress from the baseline in the third and what proved to be final set as the experienced Czech broke at 2-2 before serving out the match in style.
