The Chicago Bears are reportedly considering exploring a trade deal for wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
Marshall signed a four-year contract with the Bears last May, but appears to have fallen out with the organisation after a locker room incident last season while he has also been outspoken with the press.
It is unclear at this stage as to whether Chicago will release the 30-year-old if they are unable to move him in a trade, NFL.com reports.
Marshall had 61 receptions for 721 yards and eight touchdowns last season, but a rib injury ensured that his campaign ended in week 14.
It is reported that the attempt to move Marshall is a strategy designed by general manager Ryan Pace and coach John Fox to "clean up the locker room".
