The Cleveland Browns have signed quarterback Josh McCown to a three-year deal, according to reports.
The 35-year-old was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the end of the 2014 campaign, having struggled throughout the year as the club posted a 2-14 record.
However, McCown was in demand by several teams across the country including the Chicago Bears and the Buffalo Bills along with the Browns.
Reports suggest that Cleveland have moved quickly to sign the veteran to a three-year deal worth in the region of $14m [£9m].
McCown threw for 2,206 yards along with 11 touchdowns to 14 interceptions in the 2014 season.
