Brian Hoyer ready for fresh start

Brian Hoyer insists that his split with the Cleveland Browns is "good for both sides" as he looks ahead to free agency.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer believes that it is best for both parties that he is set to become a free agent.

The Browns opted to sign Josh McCown last week, which in turn signified the end of Hoyer's spell at his hometown franchise.

"It's good for both sides to get a fresh start and go our separate ways," Hoyer said, NFL.com reports.

"Being from here, I'll always root for the Browns. I know I'm going to be continuing my football career somewhere."

It is reported that the Tennessee Titans have shown interest in the signal-caller, but Hoyer insists that he isn't worried about where he moves to as long as the situation is right for him.
