The Minnesota Vikings have reportedly started preparing Josh Freeman to start their next game.
The NFC North side signed the quarterback as a free agent earlier this month after he was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
FOXSports.com says that the team are pushing the 25-year-old to learn the offense and start against the New York Giants on Monday.
Christian Ponder started the Vikings' first three games of the season, before a rib injury allowed Matt Cassel to take his place.
