Half-Time Report: Seattle Seahawks in control against San Francisco 49ers

The Seattle Seahawks are on course for an eighth win of the season after taking a 13-0 lead into the interval of their meeting with the San Francisco 49ers.

The Seattle Seahawks have taken a 13-0 lead into the half-time break after dominating the first half against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium.

It was a disappointing start to the game for Colin Kaepernick as Cliff Avril hit the 49ers quarterback with an early sack, before Richard Sherman intercepted a pass moments later to win possession back for the visitors.

Seattle took the lead late in the first quarter through Robert Turbin, who found space to collect a pass from Russell Wilson before easing into the endzone.

Wilson avoided trouble on a couple of occasions early in the second quarter to drive the Sehawks forward once again, but the visitors would be forced to settle for a field goal from Steven Hauschka.

San Francisco continued to struggle on offense throughout the first half, with Kaepernick unable to hit his receivers on a regular basis to put the pressure back on the Super Bowl winners.

Seattle extended their lead further when Hauschka converted from 36 yards with just over five minutes remaining before the interval to put his side on course for an eighth win of the season.
