Half-Time Report: Nate Washington score puts Tennessee Titans ahead

The Tennessee Titans score late in the half through Nate Washington to take a 17-13 lead into the break in their clash against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A touchdown late in the half from Nate Washington has handed the Tennessee Titans a four-point lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers at the break in their NFL clash.

The Steelers started the game well on offense as Le'Veon Bell churned up the yards on the ground to move his side into field-goal range, and Shaun Suisham fired his side ahead from 49 yards with an accurate kick.

Pittsburgh extended their lead when Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger threw an interception into the hands of William Gay and the cornerback ran all the way back to the endzone for a 28-yard touchdown.

Tennessee responded to their mistake and Mettenberger managed to compose himself for the next drive as he led his team downfield before handing the ball off to Bishop Sankey, who ran in for a nine-yard score.

Suisham and Ryan Succop exchanged field goals before the Steelers had an excellent chance to take control of the game just before the break. However, Ben Roethlisberger threw an interception to Jason McCourty in the endzone.

On the following play, Mettenberger fired deep downfield for Washington, who made the grab for a 80-yard touchdown to put his side ahead.
