Derrick Rose scored 30 points to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 113-98 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the final game before the NBA's All-Star break.
The visitors had lost just once in their previous 15 games heading into the match at the United Center, and LeBron James kept the two sides close before half time with a run of early points.
Rose continued to push after the break though, while Pau Gasol and Tony Snell combined for 40 to cancel out a 31-point performance from James.
Chicago were up by 10 going into the fourth quarter as Rose kept the points coming throughout, while the Cavaliers' threat faded late on.
The Bulls, who have now won four games in a row, return in a week against the Detroit Pistons, while Cleveland face the Washington Wizards next Friday.
