Unified heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko will face Kubrat Pulev later this year.
The IBF have order Klitschko to defend his IBF strap against the Bulgarian, who became mandatory challenger for that version of the world title when he beat Tony Thompson last summer.
Klitschko, who stopped Alex Leapai in five rounds last month, is also expected to put his WBA super, WBO and IBO belts on the line against the 33-year-old.
A provisional date of September 6 has been put in place, with the bout likely to take place in Germany.
