James Beattie wants "positive" Accrington Stanley

Accrington Stanley must stay positive and keep believing, according to James Beattie.

James Beattie has urged his players to stay "positive" after their 2-1 defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge on Friday night.

Accrington Stanley have yet to win this season and are bottom of League Two.

"I am bitterly disappointed and it was kamikaze defending but we have got to remain positive," Football365.com quotes Beattie as saying.

"It is serious but I still believe we can win two or three on the spin and then we are talking about a different scenario. I still believe we can turn it around.

"We have got to learn lessons quicker and we are all disappointed. Losing is a bad habit to have and winning is the best, and I believe we can get into a winning habit."

Accrington play AFC Wimbledon away next weekend.
