Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly prepared to submit an offer for Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
The Gunners have long been linked with the Brazilian international, but have so far failed to make a bid for his services.
However, amid reports that Napoli are keen on his signature, Wenger has been prompted to make a move, according to The Mirror.
The report added that the 33-year-old is likely to be allowed to depart Loftus Road for a fee in the region of £1.5m.
