Premier League trio battle for Lyon's Samuel Umtiti?

Lyon defender Samuel Umtiti is the subject of interest from a host of Premier League and European clubs, according to reports.

Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool are ready to fight it out for the signature of Lyon's French defender Samuel Umtiti, according to reports.

The 21-year-old can play at either centre-back or left-back, and has seven caps for France's Under-21 side.

His performances for Lyon have brought him to the attention of the Premier League trio, who will compete to complete his signing for a fee of around £11m, reports the Daily Star.

However, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur are also credited with an interested in Umtiti.

Umtiti made his Lyon debut as a teenager in 2012, and has since gone on to make over 100 appearances for the club.
