Luis Gustavo would reportedly prefer to stay in Germany and switch to Wolfsburg than move to Arsenal in the Premier League.

Luiz Gustavo would reportedly prefer to stay in the Bundesliga and transfer to Wolfsburg than make a switch to Arsenal.

The Bayern Munich anchor man is said to be ready to move on after an influx of midfielders since Pep Guardiola took over at the Allianz Arena, with Arsenal believed to be leading the chase for the Brazilian.

However, according to Kicker, Gustavo would rather remain in Germany and Wolfsburg could be the side to snap him up for a fee in the region of €15m (£12.9m).

Another side believed to be making a late run at the 26-year-old is Napoli, but the latest reports suggest that no bid has yet been made by the Italian runners-up.
