David Seaman: 'Keep faith with Wojciech Szczesny'

Arsenal legend David Seaman warns Arsene Wenger that he does not need to launch a bid for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.

Arsenal legend David Seaman has told Arsene Wenger that he does not need to launch a bid for goalkeeper Petr Cech.

The Gunners manager is reportedly lining up a £7m move for the Chelsea man in the January transfer window.

However, Seaman believes that Wenger should keep faith with current first-choice stopper Szczesny.

"Wojciech is coming off his best season last season with Arsenal and I don't think that anybody warrants taking his place because he is not making mistakes," Seaman told talkSPORT.

"Arsenal are conceding goals, but it is not through goalkeeping errors that they are conceding."

The North Londoners have conceded five goals in their last two games, against Anderlecht and Swansea City.
