Arsene Wenger coy on Raheem Sterling link

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger refuses to rule out the possibility of signing Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling at the end of the season.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has remained coy on the possibility of signing Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling this summer.

It has been reported that the England international will tell the Reds this week that he wants to leave Anfield.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are all thought to be interested in the 20-year-old.

When asked if he had made an offer for Sterling, Wenger told reporters: "I do not bid for anybody at the moment. But in the summer we will bid for people, yes. I do not like to lie. If I say I will and I don't do it, you will say I lied."

Arsenal continue their Premier League campaign on Wednesday against Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium.
