Aston Villa defender Jores Okore has said that he could return from a serious knee injury earlier than expected and feature again this season.
The 21-year-old was ruled out for the rest of the campaign after rupturing an anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during September 21's defeat at home to Newcastle United.
Villa initially said that the Dane could be out for up to nine months but today Okore tweeted that he could be back this season.
"Buzzin. I may be back this season!!!" he said.
Okore joined Villa from Nordsjaelland in June.
